Between 1928 and 1963, Samuel Bayard and his collaborators traveled throughout southwestern Pennsylvania collecting and transcribing over 1000 traditional folk tunes. Our 5th recording (2019) of traditional Pennsylvania old-time music from Bayard’s collections features tunes collected from the fiddlers and fifers in and around Armstrong County PA.
